We refer you to an article on CampoPulse titled 540 dogs need homes. While we're at it, we remind you that here in Jimena there is one dog still looking for a home (photo). The little fellow is sitting at Prospero's feet as he writes this. Indeed, thanks to a very charitable lady who simply can't keep him, Zorro (nee Fleabag and no doubt other names) has been de-wormed, checked over and ... er ... is now missing the family jewels. He has not changed his personality one bit despite the latter (well, I would, wouldn't you?). Here's all the information about our local needy dog (who has found a very temporary home but is looking for something more permanent.) (Not too long ago, someone suggested starting a local dog home - we lost the e-mail (apologies and much touching of forelocks), so would whoever it was write in again, please.)
