Meet Zorro, nee Fleabag

We really want to thank Renate for her care. She is sending the following e-mail to all her friends (you could copy & paste it and send it to yours, Dear Reader).
Meet Zorro (name I have given the dog for now)
He has been around the village in Jimena for the last 3 weeks,
Alberto and Phil have been looking after him during the day. I took him to the Vet in Estacion San Roque yestyerday morning, he has no chip and was wormed and de-flea-ed. He is not a fleabag at all; he is:>

  • the sweetest dog
  • good with cats
  • has no issue with kids
  • he is not aggressive
  • I introduced him to my pack of 7 dogs, and he was very well received
  • he has travelled in the car with me, he does not try and jump all over you, he stays in the back seat
  • he has no food issues, he chews his  food, does not inhale it,
  • he is extremely affectionate, get kisses often
  • follows you everywhere
  • this is the perfect dog for people who have no experience with dogs because you do not have to teach him much
There are only 2 things wrong with this dog

1.  He still has his testicles (so snip snip asap)
2..  He does not have a home

Please could you all forward this e mail to all your  friends (or send them this link:http://jimenapulse.blogspot.com/2011/03/meet-zoro-nee-fleabag.html)

He truly is an amazing dog, and I should know!!!

Alberto & Phil note: Both of us wish we could keep him but we can't as we have other dogs and no more space. Fleabag, as we called him (he knew better than to answer), spent all day in the office and would ask to be let out for obvious reasons (i.e. he is house trained). We took him in, and fed him for a while because of all the reasons above and because he was getting kicked about by the unthinking classes across the road in the bar. No animal deserves that, least of all this one, whom we became very fond of and will miss, but PLEASE, consider giving him the home he does deserve, you won't regret it for sure. Here are some more photos of him, renamed Zoro, and evidently enjoying himself.

(Via e-mail) Okay will have to change the spelling to Zorro, it is meant to mean fox, but in Spanish. He will steal your heart, please lets try hard for this boy, he really is soooooo sweet, so worth the effort to home somewhere he can thrive.
