Holy Week tradition is kept in Tesorillo

JIMENA / San Martín del Tesorillo It is a tradition (not only in Tesorillo) that on the third day of Easter Week, the figure of Christ of the Holy Death (i.e. Christ on His cross) is carried through the village by members of the Parish Association to visit the homes of the disabled or impaired, where a Station of the Cross is prayed in commemoration of the Via Crucis Jesus did 2,000 years ago.
