Eliot, Cats first opened in the West End in 1981. It is the second longest-running show in Broadway history, and the fourth longest-running West End musical. It has been performed around the world many times and has been translated into more than 20 languages. And it was a job to find a song that has not been done to the death by every singer since Methuselah's wife Syndrome... This one is The Song of the Jellicoes.
