The world - and certainly Jimena - is a better place for her presence, though she'd hate to hear it said. Daphne's sense of humour has given us all strength at one time or another. Her wise tongue, never devoid of the company of those wonderfully sparkling eyes, has set many of us straight, never hurtfully but always on target. When I said to her that I hadn't seen her for a while, she started to sing 'I Don't Get Around Much Any More'. In tune, in voice, in fun - as always.
It's a privilege to know you, Daphne, and a great pleasure to wish you a Happy 95th!
