JIMENA This is Frankie, one of the puppies rescued with his mother last week. He is still looking for a home (call Renate on 672 072 616). His brother Brandy (not sure if brother or sister, but great photo below!!) is also, as are all their siblings. There was one response on the previous item about them, who offered to take care of one of them and we asked her to contact us so we can put everyone in touch, but we have heard no further from her. (¡Ceci, llama a Renate!) Also, there are people who might be interested in setting up some kind of local animal charity, so if you support this idea, please let us know via e-mail, or as a comment on this article (click on the word 'comment' below!).

A local animal charity sounds like a good idea! Keep us posted (of course you will, Prospero...)
Well if we can all try and help out in our own little way, collectively we can help where we can, and if we can!
Animals are innocent, they do not have choices like we do.
Yes Alberto I would be interested in getting involved with a group.
(VIA E-MAIL) I would be very willing to get involved with a local animal charity here in Jimena.
I have been asking around and everyone I have spoken to is willing to give support on a small donation on a monthly basis, I have asked them to contact you so i do hope they will, I know that this would be a great success with support from the community.
As yet I have a lot more to ask as I have only just scratched the surface on this subject. I employ everyone to get involved even with the promise of a small donation on a monthly basis once the association has been formed.
Thank you for bringing this subject to the forefront.
