(Photo: file) The School Absenteeism Commission, which meets every three months, has decided to report three cases of long-term absenteeism to the Policía Autonómica (a police force operated by an autonomous region, in this case the Junta de Andalucía). According to a press release issued this morning, Councillor for Education Jesús Rodríguez says there has been a significant improvement in the number of cases over the last few months, particularly at the secondary school level, although the same cannot be said of the primary level. In any case, says Rodríguez, the number of cases is below that of nearby villages.
