Jimena's most picturesque street, San Sebastián, close to the main square, has been given a facelift with new benches and planters. The council's Department of Development, headed by Fernando Gómez, has also announced that the municipality has been included in a Diputación scheme for urban parks that includes the availability of plants such as petunias and pansies, among others, to be planted at different places throughout the municipality.
