Tree lovers' Valentine's Day

Jimena's annual Tree Day (Día del Árbol), orginally scheduled for January 24th, and cancelled until further notice, is back on our diary (check our Upcoming Events Calendar). Now scheduled -weather permitting- for Sunday next, the 14th, St. Valentine's Day), the plan is to plant 400 trees on the hill that runs parallel to the river walk -at Finca Chinchilla (click on map to enlarge). Those walking down to the river meet at 10.30am at the main square, while those driving down will have to leave their cars close to the Fábrica de Bombas (indications on map). Remember to bring your own tools for eating and planting!
