Nine Jimena establishments sign up for 'Culinary Passport'

(Press release) Nine establishments of Jimena and Los Ángeles have signed up for the 'Culinary Passport' that will allow participants in the Mycology Workshops this weekend to try a large variety of dishes prepared with wild mushrooms by visiting all or some of the bars and restaurants taking part. The organizer's aim is to develop an aspect of the workshops that is little exploited: the culinary use of the large variety of mushrooms available in the Los Alcornocales Nature Park. The cooks will be using a mixture of traditional and modern recipes and propose such delicacies as retinto con chantarellas, pluma con boletos, solomillo braceado con crema de senderuela, arroz con lengua de vaca y pie azul, bacalao con boletos, paella de níscalos, hojaldres con chantarelas y champiñones, jabalí al tomillo con trompetas de los muertos and venado con lepiotas, among others, which will be available at the following establishments throughout the weekend: Cuenca, Las Rejas, La Tasca, Mesilla de los Ángeles, El Ventorrillero and La Bodeguita; as well as El Anón and Los Arcos; plus Camping Los Alcornocales.
