Getting ready for CARNAVAL

Furious activity down behind the school this morning. And furious drivers unable to park anywhere near the Friday market, too. But then, this is only once a year - and it starts tonight! Be aware, though, that just about everything begins late, that is, other than the kids' carnival, activities are scheduled well into the night and usually start later than scheduled. For tonight is the pregón, or official opening (the pregonero is the person who makes the opening speech - as your very own Prospero was some sixteen years ago!).
