On Tuesday, June 8, we published an item about Phase 2 of the roadworks on Calle Sevilla. It was based on a press release from the Council, but yesterday, talking to the foreman of the works, we find that the second phase won't actually begin for another ten days or so. Nevertheless, to our earlier report and the map, left, we must add that traffic will be going up Romo and then be re-diverted up Calle Autoridad Portuaria (i.e. the 'ski slope' - check your brakes!) to continue up Calle Sevilla, at least according to the maps stuck up on walls throughout. As we write, they are working on the lower end of Calle Sevilla and new diversions are happening all the time, so be aware.
