The second edition of Jimena's Caravan Rally is to take place from this coming Friday, 16, to Sunday, 18. Some several dozen caravans from all over Andalucía will begin gathering at Plaza Diego Prieto Bueno (where the market is held) on Friday afternoon. The Council hopes to repeat the success of last year's rally (photo), which concentrated the vehicles around the sports pavilion, and has decided to move the venue nearer the centre of the village 'for better interaction', according to Councillor for Development Fernando Gómez. Participants in the event, organized by the Asociación Andaluza de Autocaravanistas, will be able to choose among several activities, including a guided walk along the Hozgarganta River, another one through the village's Historic Quarter or a visit to the Parque de la Aves, among others.
