Regional trains stop operating today for five months. Bus service alternatives

IMG_8428.jpgJimenaPulse has been reporting on the fact that the Altaria railway service between Algeciras and Madrid will be suspended all the way to Antequera for rail renovations and adaptation for high-speed trains. Today is the day, and it will reportedly be for at least five months, according to agency reports. However, alternative bus routes are as follows as from today:>

ALGECIRAS - MADRID - ALGECIRAS

  • Algeciras - Antequera (by bus): 8.05am and 4.50pm, passing through Ronda at 9.35 and 6.15 respectively. Passengers, on the train from Antequera, arrive in Madrid at 2.49 and 10.50 respectively.
  • Madrid - Antequera (by train). Antequera - Algeciras: Buses leave at 11.49am and 8.14pm, arriving in Algeciras at 2.45 and 11.15 respectively.
ALGECIRAS - RONDA - GRANADA - RONDA - ALGECIRAS

  • Alternative bus transport both ways at the same time as the normal train schedule. Each train from Algeciras has two buses, one directly to Ronda, the other stopping at all scheduled stops on the Algeciras - Ronda section.
