Jorge Cárdenas Castillo is the manager of the Jimena branch of Cajasol. He is a native jimenato and the son and brother of well known local flamenco singers. His building society, which until last year was known as Caja San Fernando, is the oldest in town, Prospero believes, though it with Caja Jerez, which gave birth to Cajasol and thus becomes one of the largest in Andalucía. Cajasol also has a branch in Estación.
