'Diego Bautista Prieto' Literary prizes

The Miguel de Cervantes Municipal Library was the venue for the award-giving of this year's Literary Prize, in its 28th edition. First up to the podium was Local Police officer Juan María Moreno Vega, who is also a historian and a writer. It was these two hobbies that came together for his winning piece 'The Arrival of the Railway in Jimena, a historical fact' that deals with the revolution the railway meant for Jimena and won in the section of Best Narrative by a Local Author.
