Man arrested for scratching three cars

JIMENA (Agencies) The Guardia Civil arrested a man last Sunday for allegedly being the perpetrator of scratches on three cars. The first denuncia was made in July, followed by two more this month from different car owners on the same street in the same spot. Observation elicited that the marks on all three vehicles looked much the same and were probably made by the same instrument, which was probably a stone. Further investigation led the Guardia Civil to the conclusion that the same person waited until a car parked in front of his house, waited for the driver to leave and then proceeded to come out of his home, pick up a stone and scratch the car all over, causing damage to all sides of the vehicles. It is estimated that the damage to each vehicle amounts to €1,000.
