No sooner had we reported, on Sunday, the dangers involved in these stairs remaining in bad need of repair (See More destruction for destruction's sake), and mentioning it to Councillor Fernando Gomez on the phone, on Monday, than the Council rushed to see to it. We often put up these Fotos Denuncia and admit to rarely blogging about them when a solution is found. So this is a chance to do so. When we headed for coffee at our 'branch office' at La Tasca this morning, three employment scheme workers were, well, working. Great! These gardens are one of Jimena's loveliest spots and they should be taken care of by everyone, including the police who ought to patrol them on foot on weekend evenings and nights. Still, so far so good.
