Bridging the gap - very long weekend coming up

Monday is a National Holiday (Día de la Constitución) all over Spain. So is Wednesday (Inmaculada Concepción). So we have a puente, or bridge between the two. Schools of all levels will close tomorrow Friday 3, and open again on Thursday 9. Banks and public offices will close on Monday 6 and on Wednesday 8, but remain open on Tuesday (though chances are most of the latters' occupants will find some excuse for their absence). As for shops, the small local ones may well stay open on Mon and Wed mornings, as well as on Tuesday, but the larger ones will probably be closed. Good thing the holidays are on Mon and Wed - you should see what happens when it's Tue and Thu. (Prospero note: Should have been a teacher in Spain, me...)
