Work began today on moving some 700 m2 of earth to make way for a sports and leisure area at the upper end of the village. The Paseo Cristina, right next to the Peña Flamenca (the white building in the photo), will thus provide a flat space of 18x40m to be covered by concrete. The work, with a budget of €61.062 financed by the PlanE 2010 state fund, is to be carried out by local builder Construcciones y Reformas Miguel Vera S.L. It will give jobs to some 7 people, including those of the comapny and others presently unemployed
