PHOTO: www.jimenadelafrontera.es Work began this morning on the Estación de Jimena railway crossing, which has been an off-road adventure for years. A group of employment scheme members were repairing the many holes and earlier repairs to the crossing early today. However, Local Police advise caution when approaching the area, as traffic is bound to be affected. There is no news about when the work is scheduled to be completed, but experience tells us that it will probably be ready for the Novena celebrations the weekend after next. (Just guessing...)
