The kids at the Jimena primary school, CEIP N.S. de los Ángeles, had a fine time yesterday when two actors turned up to choose words from well-known stories, leading to their use in rhyme, sounds, syllables, etc. The idea, organized by the Council's Department of Culture headed by Juan José Rondón (who is also a teacher at the school), was to promote reading among the young. Rondón also reminded everyone that the municipal libraryies are open to anyone throughout the summer.
