(Press release) The municipal swimming pool in Jimena is being prepared for summer. One of the principal items is that it will be less deep : to a depth of 180 cms., 40 less than before. Other work being carried out includes the replacement of the 33-year-old drainage system. That, plus a new open air sunbathing area, which has needed a containment wall constructed to make it flatter. The idea is to allow for sun loungers in that section of the pool facilities. The work is being carried thanks to various grants from the Junta, to a total of €113.965.
