La Línea gunfight results in police finding two tons of hash; Gibraltar connection suspected

(Agencies) A gunfight between two drug-dealing clans resulted in the National Police finding 2,250 kilos of hashish hidden at a home in the Zabal  Bajo area, with a street value of €2,087,000. The operation saw six people arrested, four belonging to a clan known as Los Poldi, and the other two of a rival clan that had tried to steal from them. The whole thing began around 5am last Tuesday, when police were alerted about gunshots being fired in one of the less salubrious parts of La Línea.
