Anonymous donor gives Christmas hampers to Jimena families in need

(Agencies) A private citizen who wishes to remain anonymous yesterday donated a number of Christmas hampers to the Council's Department of the Environment, to be distributed to families in need throughout the municipality. Aside from seasonal goods, the hampers also contain non-perishable goods and have been passed on to the Department of Social Services for distribution. Councillor Noelia García (photo, with a municipal worker) thanked the donor and emphasised the importance of such gifts at this juncture of a financial crisis that is seriously affecting the municipality.
