New roof for Jimena train station

The train station at Jimena is getting a new roof as part of the renovations planned for all stations between Algeciras and Ronda. It will be remembered that this railway line is under extensive renovation since October and is expected to continue at least until March next year. If you have driven along the main road at night, you will have noticed that work continues 24 hours a day, so maybe the work is on schedule. Let's hope so, since the train trip up the mountains in Spring is something everyone should experience. (Photo from Town Hall.)
