Val and Pat Jubb opened the doors of their fabulous new Bed&Breakfast, La Viña de Liñán, yesterday evening. They chose the time perfectly, when the setting sun shone on the marvellous mural by Lucilla Jones and Ruth Murphy, the unveiling of which was the reason for the party. Pat addressed the crowd from a stairway 'pulpit', thanking everyone for being there as well as all those who took part in the extensive renovations of this fabulous place (about which we are preparing an upcoming feature, as well as a report on Lucilla and Ruth - watch this space). We were invited to visit the outside massage and chill-out area that will soon include a Jacuzzi as well, and is available to non-guests by request. The party then got under way on the magnificent terrace full of colour and warmth - and a wonderful spread it was, too! - from which the views down the valley of La Encubierta are truly breathtaking. A wonderful way to end a busy day, week or month.
