Rio de Janeiro is Olympic city in 2016
The final vote from the Olympic Committee in Copenhagen came down at exactly 18.51. Chicago was eliminated in the first round of votes, and Tokyo in the second. Madrid was in the final but Rio got the winning votes in a suspenseful afternoon.
