Did you put your clocks forward last night?

Did you remember to put your clocks forward? We lost an hour's sleep last night, but they'll give it back in October, unless the cutbacks impact on time as well... Did you remember all your clocks? The one on the oven? In the car? And, by the way, they did the same in the UK.
(Right, that's the last time you'll see this clock until October)

Clock spring forward tonight

An hour's sleep, we lose! An hour's living, we gain! The times, they are a-changing tonight when two o'clock in the wee hours suddenly becomes 3a.m. thus depriving some of us of the lovely early morning sunshine - and others of their dark evenings. Never mind, we'll get that hour back in October.

Clocks spring forward on Saturday

An hour's sleep, we lose! An hour's living, we gain! The times, they are a-changing this coming Saturday night (Sunday morning, really) when two o'clock in the wee hours suddenly becomes 3a.m. thus depriving some of us of the lovely early morning sunshine - and others of their dark evenings. Never mind, we'll get that hour back in October.

Did you put all your clocks BACK last night?

Yes, without asking the clocks all over Europe went back by an hour in the middle of the night - at 3 a.m. to be exact, which became 2 a.m. all by itself, the little bu ... no hang on, we got an extra hour this morning! Where's it gone? And have you changed all the clocks in the house? The one in the kitchen? On your wrist? Oh, and in the car? Don't say we didn't warn you...

Clocks go BACK tonight

Three in the morning and all is dark. Suddenly, a miracle happens all over Europe, without much fanfare, no noise, no commotion. Three becomes two - just like that! So remember to put your clocks BACK by one hour before you hit the sack, or when you get home, whichever comes last. Yes, you get an extra hour on Sunday morning but don't tell anyone, or they'll put you to work (you know what spouses and partners are like).

Clocks go BACK on Saturday

Yes, the clocks in Europe go BACK one hour at 3 a.m. on the night of Saturday, October 29 (but really Sunday morning in the wee hours ) - and we recover the hour we lost when they went forward in Spring. So, remember to put your clocks back and don't say we didn't warn (as we have since we went live in March 2007).

Did you remember to put your clocks FORWARD?

EUROPE Don't say you forgot to put the clocks FORWARD ONE HOUR last night! You mean you didn't get up at 2am to put all the clocks in the house forward? Which one didn't you do? No, dear, the computer does it all by itself because it knows where it is right now. (Prospero memo to monkeys: Enough about clocks already!)

Clocks go FOWARD tonight

EUROPE Yes, we lose an hour's sleep tonight. Clocks officially go FORWARD one hour at 2am, which as if by magic (or the fussing with technology) turns into 3am.

EUROPE Clocks go FORWARD ONE HOUR at 2am on Sunday, March 27 (that's the night of Saturday to Sunday, you stopout, you!). Daylight savings, or something... oh, and they give you that hour back in October, don't worry.

Clocks go back tonight

Clocks throughout Europe go back one hour at 03:00 tonight, which magically, mystically, becomes 02:00 again. Innit mahvellous! We urge you not to take it personally, though, because you're getting the hour that was magically, mystically stolen from you in Spring ... enjoy the extra hour; make it yours!

Did you put your clocks forward?

Clocks all over Europe went forward one hour last night. Did you remember?
(Prospero memo to monkeys: "That's enough about bleeding clocks, you lot!!" Memo to Prospero from monkeys: "Er... sir, the clock on your desk isn't ... um." Memo Prospero to monkeys: "Shuddup!" )

Clocks go forward tonight

Two o'clock in the morning miraculously becomes 3am tonight - if you're up, remember to put your clock forward. If you're not, so what? We lose an hour's sleep but they give it back in October, so don't take it personally. Must be a Spring thing...
(For some reason, this illustration is JP's most successful one ever. We have been asked permission to use it from India, Philippines, Kenya and Ireland, among other places - and we only stole it from the Internet!)
