Man arrested for stealing batteries from lorries

Man also accused of receiving stolen goods
JIMENA (Press release) The Guardia Civil arrested a man late last month accused of stealing the batteries from a number of lorries, and another for receiving stolen goods, both under the same investigation. The robberies were reported by the owner of the vehicles, which were parked behind a locked fence, the gates to which were broken. The batteries were valued at some €1,200. The GC were able to identify the author of the robberies, who was arrested shortly thereafter. The batteries had been sold to someone else, who was also arrested and accused of receiving. Both men are 'at the disposal of the courts'.
