While the weather forecast had us doubting that today was a good day to start this 'Saturday Market' down at the offices, we were delighted by the attendance! It came down in buckets, as you know if you were here, but everything went swimmingly (sorry!). Thanks to everyone who came down to support a new venture, and for purchasing a variety of things that ranged from cosy hand knitted socks to one heck of delicious quiche, from pine cone Christmas trees to lovely paintings. There was a lot more, and we're hoping this will work out for a long while. Karen's goodies from Bonissim almost sold out, Connie's Christmas decorations are stunning and Gabi's socks look so warm! We'll be there (Calle Romo 40, by the school, round the corner from the post office) next Saturday from 10 to 2. Come on down! someone used to say.
