Work began this morning on improvements to the Eastern access to Jimena via Corral de Concejo. There are several areas under construction, (blue lines) though none will overly impact traffic flow in the area. This is part of the AEPSA employment scheme with a total budget of €114,377, aimed at improving infrastructure to this part of the village, which has not otherwise been touched. Work includes pavements and street lighting, which the area lacks at present, and new drainage.
