(Photo: Philip Heinzl) Summer rain storms caught Campo residents by surprise, though the Straits area had been on an orange alert. Thunder and lightning were the musical accompaniment to heavy rain. Some 15 litres per m2 fell on Castellaryesterday morning and bomberos had to intervene in La Línea when a street flooded. Remarkable, too, is the mugginess (bochornoso in local Spanish) that came afterwards. Wasn't much better today, was it? (This item is published also on CampoPulse)
