(Press release) Mayor Pascual Collado and Councillor Fernando Gómez took Provincial Deputy Eva Leal this morning to see the CA-8201 road (to Ubrique) that has been closed since mid January (See JP item here). They also visited several other places in the municipality that have been damaged by storms and rain. The road being closed is causing considerable hardship to people working on farms in the area because they often have to go all the way to Cortes de la Frontera to reach Jimena. Collado asked that every effort should me made to get the road repaired as soon as possible.
