Sent in by Beba, a welcome Reader's Choice newcomer. This, the famous Peanut Vendor, is recorded live at Montreaux Jazz Festival in 1999. It is in stereo, with Camilo on the right channel and Valdés on the left. Bebo Valdés played at Jimena's International Music Festival in 2003 - his father is the famed Cuban pianist and former director of Havana's famous "Tropicana" night club band Bebo Valdés. Michel Camilo is a pianist and composer from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He is known as a great jazz, Latin and classical pianist with superb technical ability, and has played and recorded with many world-famous musicians. (This year's Music Festival is from July 8 to 10.
