We spotted Daniel Ward at La Tasca yesterday morning. He was headed for the bank - or maybe coming back with those little plastic coin containers in which to tidy up his large bagful of copper, which, he said, contained over €30. In any case, we thought he was a good illustration of things as they are. We were jealous, of course, because our own piggy bank (the collection tin we left for a month at Oba) only contained €16 when we opened it last week with great expectation - we'll have to re-start our donation campaign, so be warned.
