There are questions and questions...

Since we began JimenaPulse in March 2007 we have had numerous questions and requests. We answer as many as possible and publish those we think will interest our readers. Today we were asked for an area plan of how to find Primark in Algeciras, which we referred to Google Maps and the Primark website, on the grounds that it takes time and effort to do something they can easily do themselves. Most of these, which come in via e-mail, have been binned by now, but there are a few we've kept. Have a little laugh below>

A recent one, from someone in Britain, asked for information about their grandfather, who was born in Jimena in 1913 (we're doing the best we can); another asked if we knew one Mark Court in the South of Spain (that was all the information - binned); yet another, some time ago, asked us to find out if two undivorced members of the same sex could get married in Jimena Town Hall (short answer: No). And another asked for the address of 'Maria', but wasn't sure what street she lived on (there are only about 27 Marias per square metre in Jimena - replied asking for more info, never heard from again). And what about the man who wanted to know who the blonde girl was who was sitting at La Tasca last week? (Jeez! We weren't there, wish we had been).
Then there was the man who asked if we would help him decorate his holiday flat in Arenal, so he could come over to find it all nice and ready a couple of weeks later - the request included buying all the furniture! When we told him how much it would cost, he disappeared for months without even saying thanks for replying. But he turned up again and asked us to take some photos (of his fully furnished flat) so he could rent the place out. We're still waiting for the €50 and have kept the pictures. Fools, we are.
We try to be polite and helpful, but there are times ...
