(WEEKEND WRINKLY SPECIAL) Plenty of our readers (and our only writer, Prospero) are none too happy about reaching certain ages (use of plural optional) because ... well, things ain't what they used to be. With the intention of looking on the bright side, we have set out a list (below) of some of the positives - and a few words of sensible advice that we will doubtless heed immediately. (Incidentally, regular in Spain means 'just so-so')

Social Security reform encourages Americans to live faster, die younger
This threatens to return us to one of our favourite JimenaPulse features (Laugh on Sunday, we think we called it) that just dried up over the summer along with most of our plants. It was sent in by Sheila H, whose plants are still surviving. We have reason to believe this might also be pertinent to Europe in its present state of uncertainty ... (Send in your funnies, people, and let's all laugh - we need it!)

It's Sunday, why aren't we laughing?
We are, Wrinkle (that's this guy's name), we are. But over at CampoPulse now. We want to revive our Sunday laughs section, which ran for a long while here on JimenaPulse. So if you have a favourite sketch, comedy piece, any kind of funny (except the stuff that comes down the e-mail way), please send it in (instructions are over there, on CampoPulse). OH, AND WE'D LOVE TO FIND A SPONSOR FOR IT! (Correction, we NEED a sponsor!!)

Better laugh - it's Sunday!

Here's something titled You Can't Fix Stupid. Now, we're not sure if there shouldn't be a comma somewhere. Maybe you can help...

YOU CAN HAVE A LAUGH AGAIN - IT'S SUNDAY!
Okay, okay, relax and enjoy this classic piece of comedy from Victor Borge - it goes back to a time when it wasn't necessary to swear, shout and generally make a nuisance of yourself onstage if you were a comedian. It also required good comedy script writing, and in this case a knowledge of punctuation, knowledge which is sadly lacking nowadays. But, hey, we sometimes make a boo-boo with our punctuation, so we asked Mr. Borge for some help. And we need yours as well, Dear Reader, as you can tell from the banner ad...
