Yesterday was a lovely day, as is today. So maybe this nice group of friends will be sitting at a table in front of Vecina's in the square today, too. They allowed Prospero to take and publish their photo, for which thanks. Notice the sensible dog under the table ... clever thing! The men with their shaved heads in the sun ... well. It's great to see new faces and not-so-new ones in the village again. (If you have a photo of friends in Jimena, please send it in and we´ll put it up. It might be a nice way to welcome them ...)
JIMENA This is Fleabag, who acquired the nickname for obvious reasons. He is probably not more than two years old, in otherwise very good nick, and certainly one of the nicest, best tempered abandoned dogs we have ever come across. He lives in or around the Bar La Parada (and close to where the monkeys work) but is getting kicked around by stupid bar flies. Also, he is not welcome in the bar, where he tends to nap, because the owners could get into trouble with Health & Safety. We've become fond of him and feed him as often as possible (without being seen) and will be sad to see him go, but he needs a good home. Call 956 648169 or 685 298 820 for more info.
